- Translate business needs into data models and products, ensuring scalable and maintainable pipelines that serve both analytics and AI use cases.
- Design, model, and process event-driven data using technologies such as Kafka and Snowplow, enabling reliable real-time and behavioral tracking across the customer journey.
- Leverage AI tools such as text-to-SQL and conversational interfaces, and contribute to the development of a semantic layer to enable business users to query data with natural language.
- Define and maintain core business metrics in our semantic layer, ensuring consistency and clarity across teams for performance tracking and forecasting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for predictive modeling, automation, and ML integration in our data ecosystem.
- Build and optimize dashboards and visualizations that expose key insights, empowering teams to make data-informed decisions.
- Apply statistical and mathematical knowledge (e.g., regression analysis, hypothesis testing, variance analysis) to solve complex business questions.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations to support roadmap decisions and measure feature impact with data.
- Contribute to our data architecture, promoting best practices in data quality, version control, documentation, and deployment through tools like dbt, Airflow, and Trino/Iceberg.

- Tech and business experience
- Proficient in building queries with SQL, dbt, Git and cloud services/ETLs.
- Experience working with relational databases as well as event-driven and NoSQL storage solutions such as Kafka, MongoDB, Snowplow, and any system capable of transmitting, processing, and analyzing data.
- 2-5 years of work experience in a similar role analyzing data.
- Strong experience with Python, particularly in data analysis, AI, and machine learning (Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn, Jupyter/iPython notebooks).
- Familiarity with AI concepts and ability to leverage AI to automate and enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, Qlikview, etc.
- Fluency in English.
- Big Data technology experience is highly valued (Redshift, Spark).
- Past work experience in as a consultant for airlines and/or OTA’S firm with focus on Airline pricing and distribution.
- Passion for digital products and the ability to make software decisions with data in mind
- Experience working in squad teams, Agile and Kanban processes and frameworks.
