
Global Finance Director

- Full P&L responsibility for the Business Unit at a Global level, including revenue, margin, and cost base.
- Ensure gross margin (GM) integrity from bid to execution across all projects.
- Actively participate in sales offer development, leading commercial viability checks and cost modeling.
- Lead Business Unit financial planning, including budgeting, rolling forecasts, and 5-year outlook.
- Embed strong project controlling and procurement cost tracking practices.
- Support risk assessment, contingency planning, and scenario modeling for projects.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, IFRS, and project accounting policies.
- Represent the Business Unit Finance function in global and group-level performance reviews.
- Drive improvement initiatives around process standardization, digital finance tools, and margin optimization.
- Build a high performance team
- Approve and validate margin assumptions for all offers and bids.
- Review engineering hours, procurement estimates, and milestone structures.
- Monitor project financial performance, cost deviations, and cash flow.
- Conduct regular project reviews with cross functional teams
- Collaborate with sales on price profitability insights.
- Generate monthly Business Unit financial dashboard and risk/opportunity bridge.
- Engage with Group Procurement to ensure price alignment and supply risk visibility.
- Support Finance transformation, ERP usage, and reporting tool optimization within the Business Unit
- Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering with financial background.
- Minimum 7 years of finance experience, including 4 years leadership roles in project-based industries.
- Expertise in project controlling, commercial management, and cost tracking in engineering environments.
- High proficiency in SAP, financial modeling, and analytics.
- High level of English is a must
