We have more than 135 sales branches and more than 35 production centers around the world, in addition to strategically distributed logistics hubs that support our production and distribution centers.Our team is comprised of more than 7,000 employees motivated and skilled employees from over 45 countries.Mission:We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) expert who will be responsible for conducting LCA projects within Fluidra globally.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess the environmental profile of products, with an emphasis on carbon footprint, and identify areas for environmental performance improvement.You will provide recommendations for reducing environmental impacts throughout the entire life cycle and you will develop environmental footprint reports for clients and/or EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) applications. Additionally, you will support interdisciplinary projects with a focus on achieving Fluidra’s ESG targets.Your responsibilities:
  • Explore and integrate the most appropriate tools for LCA and carbon footprint calculations to meet Fluidra’s needs.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects addressing Life Cycle Assessment and product sustainability
strategy in accordance with ISO standards and other relevant guidelines. * Work across the entire global value chain of Fluidra’s products – including marketing, R&D,procurement, key suppliers – to assess product environmental footprints. * Collect and manage LCI data, create LCA models of products, generate LCA results and perform interpretation. Identify opportunities for environmental performance improvement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on LCA findings, carbon footprints, and other sustainability metrics.
  • Manage the process for EPD applications with relevant EPD operators.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on LCA and product carbon footprint calculation.
  • Lead the integration of relevant data into R&D eco-design tool (e.g. Solidworks).
  • Build collaborations and partnerships outside the organization to ensure our team keeps up to date with emerging trends and best practices in LCA
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude and the following:
  • Strong commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship
  • Master degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
  • Several (5+) years of proven practical experience conducting LCA studies for products, services, or processes.
  • Strong knowledge of LCA methodology, including most important software tools and databases. Familiarity with EPD reporting.
  • Knowledge of sustainability standards and regulations, including ISO 14040/44 and other relevant guidelines (ISO 14025, EN 15804, ISO 14067 among others)
  • Expertise with SOLIDWORKS 3D solid modeling software would be an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex environmental data and findings to a wide range of audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is a must; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
