- Predictive Modeling & Scoring: Build Python/DBT pipelines that predict user value on day-0 signals, enabling smarter bidding and budget shifts.
- Channel & Publisher Analytics: Develop statistical models and granular ROI frameworks to surface high-performing channels, publishers, creatives, and audiences; then recommend budget reallocations to maximize returns.
- Performance Deep Dives: Use advanced analytics (not just dashboards) to diagnose what's driving marketing outcomes, and design experiments or optimizations to give advice on what needs to change.
- Data Products & Self-Serve Tools: Architect data pipelines, dynamic reports, and notebooks that empower marketing stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
- Strategic Storytelling: Translate complex model outputs into crisp, visual narratives for leadership, fueling weekly Growth Council decisions.
- Toolkit of analytical techniques (SQL, Python or R) to build insight and give recommendations - Expert SQL is a must, good knowledge of Looker is a plus.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to interpret data and provide strategic recommendations, especially when data is incomplete or ambiguous.
- Can work through the E2E cycle: Business problem definition, data extraction, analysis, interpretation and summarizing data through presentations and visualizations. Also whenever needed, able to improve data pipeline, creating tools,
- Proven working experience in mobile app and/or subscription model
- Hands on experience working at a fast pace working in a startup environment with data savvy stakeholders
- Hands-on with mobile UA data (SKAdNetwork, MMP postbacks, or Amplitude event streams). Proven media-mix or publisher-level optimization.
- Able to build a comprehensive marketing understanding: spend, efficiency, incrementally and attribution.
- Experience in working with third party providers
- Experience in designing and analyzing experiments
- Gaming, and specifically Adnetworks data experience would be a big plus
