Localización: EspañaThe Senior Cloud AWS Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on the AWS platform.This position requires a deep understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture, and best practices for securing and optimizing cloud environments.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex cloud projects, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Architecture: Develop and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures using AWS services.
  • Cloud Management: Oversee the daily operations of AWS environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
  • Automation and Orchestration: Create and manage automation scripts, tools, and processes to streamline cloud operations and deployment workflows.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices, monitoring, and compliance requirements across all cloud environments.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use tools like Terraform and CloudFormation to manage and provision cloud resources.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and services, providing expert support to internal teams.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, DevOps, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications in the cloud.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS developments, industry trends, and best practices to continually enhance our cloud capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.
  • Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional level) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and more.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security practices and tools.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and CodePipeline.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
