
Application Support Engineer

- Respond to and resolve application-related incidents.
- Ensure timely updates and communication with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with vendor for issue escalation, resolution and issue tracking
- Perform detailed analysis of recurring issues, collaborate with development teams for permanent solutions
- Use logs, monitoring tools, and debugging techniques to identify root causes.
- Handle user requests related to application configuration, access, and functionality.
- Monitor application health, Investigate and act on alerts proactively.
- Work closely with developers to resolve bugs and deploy fixes.
- Participate in testing and validation of patches.
- Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and contribute to internal knowledge repositories.
- Assist in planning and validating application changes and releases.
- 1-4 years of experience in application support roles
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with developers, product managers, and support teams.
- SQL for querying and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with support ticketing systems and SLA-based operations.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure (for cloud-hosted app)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for incident diagnosis and resolution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
