- Extend and maintain a component library used by numerous applications within the Allianz ecosystem, ensuring consistency, scalability, and reusability across projects.
- Stay updated with the latest Angular features, tools, and best practices to continuously improve development processes.
- Utilize Schematics and GitHub Actions to automate repetitive generative tasks and streamline development workflows.
- Provide support to development teams globally during onboarding and offer third-level assistance in resolving complex technical issues and discussions with business stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, demoing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery and adherence to standards.
- Document technical decisions, specifications, procedures, and guidelines for clarity and future reference.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align business requirements with timely code developments, ensuring a win-win situation.
- Proven experience as an Angular/TypeScript Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of Angular framework concepts, including components, services, routing, and dependency injection.
- 5+ years of software development experience, with 4+ years specifically in Angular 2+, ECMAScript 6+, and NodeJS.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and HTTP integrations, along with experience in version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like Jasmine and Karma, as well as end-to-end testing tools such as Cypress or Playwright.
- Experience with cloud development and GitHub (Monorepo), and proficiency in development methods and tools: CI/CD Pipeline, Clean Code, DevOps, FE Security, and UX/UI sensibility.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI across the frontend SDLC, with continuous awareness of AI advancements and when to adopt them: AI coding/testing assistants; skilled in vendor/tool evaluation; and maintains strong privacy, security, and accessibility practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+), with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, and a collaborative team player open to feedback and continuous improvement.
