Are you the next to be reeled in? ⛴About our partnerOn behalf of our partner C&A, we are looking for the best talent to join rindus. C&A is a multinational retail clothing brand, with stores in all Europe. We are currently collaborating with their e-commerce division, with the headquarters in Düsseldorf (Germany), you will work in a distributed team from our office in Málaga (Spain) or from home.What you'll be doingAfter an intensive selection process for a planning software, initially for financial planning, Anaplan's planning software was chosen. Following a successful MVP, Anaplan is now to be rolled out further and used for all planning scenarios in the financial area / business navigation. This project will be carried out with the support of Anaplan and an external service provider. Internal capabilities will be directly involved in this project so that the software can be maintained and further developed independently later. Right now, the internal consists of one Senior Anaplan Consultant, one Anaplan Model Builder and one Product Manager, supported by an Integration Specialist. To complete this team, we are looking for another Anaplan Model Builder.Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and confirm understanding of user stories with the Product Manager and stakeholders before building Anaplan solutions
  • Build lists, modules, dashboards, and reporting to support financial and operational planning processes.
  • Configure Anaplan models following best practices and design standards defined by Solution Architects or Master Anaplanners.
  • Perform unit testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of model configurations.
  • Integrate data from various sources into the Anaplan model, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Act as a point of contact for end-user questions, feedback, and training support.
  • Serve as a second level of support for defect resolution and system issues.
  • Collaborate with the Business Analyst / Product Manager, internal IT team, and business stakeholders to continuously improve planning processes.
  • Document model structures, calculations, and processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Key Relationships:
  • The most important relationships will exist internally with IT colleagues and the business. In addition to the existing external service providers and directly with Anaplan
What you'll bring
  • Hands-on experience as an Anaplan Model Builder (minimum 6+ months).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate business processes into scalable Anaplan solutions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and modeling, ideally with prior experience in Excel-based financial or operational planning.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Self-directed learner, eager to expand Anaplan expertise and adopt best practices.
  • Openness to agile ways of working, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Completed studies in informatics or economics or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 6+ months of experience in Anaplan configuration and model building.
  • Background in financial analysis, data analysis, or business planning preferred.
  • Experience in project work and support in project management
  • Fluency in English, German is an asset
