- Implement the global data management framework in coordination with local teams, ensuring consistent and effective application across geographies and business units.
- Define, maintain, and evolve formal roles and responsibilities (Data Owners, Stewards, Custodians), ensuring accountability within each organizational unit.
- Collaborate in identifying key data domains and formally assigning accountable roles.
- Develop guidelines, training materials, and communications to foster a strong data culture and responsible data management practices.
- Monitor adherence to data governance policies, supporting the collection and analysis of compliance metrics (KPIs/KRIs).
- Maintain clear and consistent definitions of data through the business glossary effective implementation.
- Lead internal or external audits related to data governance practices.
- Provide operational support in coordination with compliance, audit, risk, and technology functions.
- Collaborate in the definition and implementation of tools and processes required to ensure and automatize the data governance process.
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in data management, data governance, data quality, or information architecture roles.
- Solid knowledge of data management and governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM) and related tools (catalogs, lineage, quality).
- Ability to define and implement role and responsibility models, and to coordinate cross-functional initiatives across multiple organizational units.
- Ability to work in global and matrixed environments, effectively communicating with both technical and business stakeholders.
- University degree in Law, Engineering, Information Science, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
