What You’ll DoFinancial Analysis and Reporting:Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key insights and trends.Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budget and forecasts, providing actionable recommendations.Budgeting and Forecasting:Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.Business Partnering:Work closely with various business units to understand their financial needs and provide analytical support to drive business performance.Develop relationships with stakeholders to gather insights and enhance the overall financial planning process.Financial Modeling:Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.Analyze various scenarios to evaluate potential impacts on financial outcomes.Data Management and Analysis:Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to provide meaningful insights and support decision-making.Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial reporting systems and tools.Ad-hoc Analysis:Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by management to support strategic initiatives and special projects.Provide insights on industry trends and market conditions affecting financial performance.What You’ll BringQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Min. 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related field (internships included).Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial software and ERP systems is a plus (Cognos/TM1).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills with a business partnering approach.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing prioritiesSkillsCommercial awareness and analytical skillsInfluencing skills with an ability to explain complicated challenges to different areas of the businessStrong and proven ability to plan, organize and prioritize own workload, and ensure deadlines are metStrong interpersonal skillsConsistently works in an organized manner that ensures appropriate focus and deliveryStrong Excel and Financial planning system skillsFluent in EnglishGerman language skills are nice to havePersonal AttributesIs driven and passionate about delivering resultsHas the resilience to deliver against the odds, overcoming challenges as they arisePrefers to work collaboratively with others to deliver resultsIs pro-active and willingly takes ownership of problems and opportunitiesTakes pride in everything they do and can be trusted to act with integrity at all times
