We are making significant strategic investments that will not only decrease our own environmental footprint, but also help customers adapt to long-term environmental and social change through the development of cleaner, greener solutions.Arxada has an exciting opportunity for an Indirect Tax Compliance Manager - You will be working closely with the Head of Indirect Tax, will work mainly on VAT compliance related matters.Essential Job Functions:The role holder will be responsible for overseeing compliance processes which are outsourced to Global Business Service Operations and/or external providers, together with the Head of Indirect TaxYou will ensure that the required indirect tax fillings will occur timely, completely, and review/improve compliance procedures.Controls and reconciliations of the VAT GL accounts.Assist the Head of Indirect Tax in managing indirect tax controversy and policy matters, via maintaining good relationship with tax authorities.Reviews indirect tax legislation and advises on the implications, ensuring updates of ERP systems, manuals and policies ensuring good communication with the relevant stakeholders.Qualifications & Experience:Relevant experience in professional services firm/and or inhouse tax department.SAP user knowledge is required.Comfortable working with ambiguity and uncertainty, with the ability to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations.Demonstrate timely and accurate decision making, ensuring escalation where appropriate.Ensures high-quality performance.Good oral and written communication skills in EnglishArxada has world class offering in two distinct areas:Microbial Control Solutions (MCS) focuses on threats posed by microorganisms to people and planet through five distinct business lines including Professional Hygiene, Home & Personal Care, Wood Protection, Paints & Coatings and Material Protection.Nutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE), meanwhile, provides materials used to manufacture composites for electronics, aerospace and other markets, as well as vitamins and nutritional ingredients, chemicals and performance intermediates, and raw materials for a wide range of high-performance applications.Arxada is an equal opportunity employer.
