Fashion Buyer

• Establishing the structure of collections and determining the quantities for orders.
• Strategizing the timing and scheduling of collection releases.
• Setting appropriate selling prices for products.
• Engaging in negotiations with suppliers globally to secure optimal quality and pricing within specified delivery deadlines.
• Handling procurement of both fabrics and garments.
• Facilitating communication and collaboration with the Design team throughout collection development.
• Overseeing bulk purchase orders, including terms, conditions, and monitoring until delivery.
• Adhering to import procedures in coordination with the Logistics department and Customs agents.
• Reviewing packing lists and ensuring adherence to supplier invoices and shipping documents.
• Tracking and managing all invoices related to product purchases.
• Crafting product strategies for each category.
• Coordinating with Marketing and Ecommerce departments regarding deliveries and product information.
• Conducting sales analysis to derive insights for new design directions, including fabric and color choices.
• Analyzing trends and presenting proposals based on findings.
• Formulating discount or promotional strategies in response to commercial requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in garment procurement (3 to 4 years).
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Strong enthusiasm for fashion and trend tracking.
• Effective negotiation abilities and adeptness in cultivating robust commercial relationships.
• Sound analytical skills with a capacity for data-driven decision-making.
• Possesses a strategic mindset and vision.
