Open Gateway is the initiative of the GSMA to open the network capabilities to developers and Telefónica as a telecom company is working to make it real.
We are looking an outgoing developer immerse in technical communities that want to contribute in this project with its technical and communications skillsHow will you do it?Open Gateway has an area called “Go To Market”. On this area there is “Devrel” . You will be at “Devrel Team”. Your buddy will be Laura and she will lead you through this journey. Your manager will be Laura that you will have 1:1 frequently.
We organize with a Kanban. Every two week we have a meeting to manage what task we will accomplish. Your day by day will be open the Kanban, check what you are doing: a demo, a documentation, an action on the developer hub or a support with clientes. You will have support with devrel team, product team, engineering team and marketing team. Design and videos are done by marketing team.When will you work?This internship is 5h and flexible hours. We take seriously the conciliation. We work for delivering and we thrust on how you organize yourself. Meetings are normally from 10 am to 5 pm and we avoid meetings on Fridays. We normally go to the office on Thursdays when we have the Open Gateway Town Hall. Open Gateway Telefonica headquarters are in Madrid. There is team base on Barcelona, Granada, Bilbao, etc. The Devrel is based in Madrid. Full Remote will be considered¿Cómo será tu día a día?What will you do?
- Technical support. You will learn how deal with clients presenting the technology and supporting in some doubts or questions.
- Propouse updates and needs for engaging developers at the tools that we have: devhub, sandbox & devportal.
- Create developer facing documentation, programming demos, training materials, videos, reels, and presentations for Open Gateway's APIs to foster the growth of our developer community. This content will be in our web site: developer hub and social networks.
- Motivate and help internal or external devs to create content about Open Gateway.
- Perform presentations in tech events about Open Gateway.
- Attend tech events to meet the communities and generate leads to Go To Market.
- Create alliances with companies and communities to generate awareness.
- Alignment with other departments creating a good relation offering and management the help: feedback, collaborations, etc.
- Participate on the devrel strategy that we are building.
- You love programming and teaching.
- You are fluent in reading and writing a language like Python, Node.js or React.
- You are fluent English reading, writing and speaking.
- You are fluent talking with people and meeting new people
- You are expected to have very good skills in solving problems and creativity is your shield.
- You love to be a team player and have good communication skills. In your day-to-day work you will have to interact with several multidisciplinary teams.
- Bonus points if you are already an active member of any software communities in your region
- Jornada de 25 horas con una ayuda al estudio de 850 € mensuales.
- Beca con duración minima de 6 meses y máximo 12 meses.
