The Alto Café Supervisor - SO/ Sotogrande

• Manage and supervise the café staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
• Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly
• Oversee food and beverage preparation, presentation, and quality control
• Manage inventory, place orders, and control costs while maintaining appropriate stock levels
• Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall resort operations and guest satisfaction
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise in the café efficiently and professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area at all times
• Oversee the sale of golf products in the golf store
• Oversee golf reservations
• Provide information on course rules, promotions and events.
• Coordinate with marshals, caddy masters and golf instructors on course operations as needed.

• Proven experience as a café supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
• Proficiency in cash handling and POS systems
• Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and current café trends
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in food service
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Fluency in English; and Spanish
• Food safety certification is highly desirable
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment is a significant advantage
