- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from team members and managers in the EMEA and APAC, escalating complex matters when needed.
- Manage daily HR administrative activities, including support for local compliance tasks, and assisting with payroll and benefits coordination in partnership with the dedicated Payroll and Benefits team.
- Support lifecycle events including onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers, and status changes.
- Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition and other People teams to ensure timely processing of Spain-specific HR transactions and to provide accurate data to the Payroll and Benefits team.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain HRIS and team member files with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with legal claims, audits, and report preparation.
- Distribute policies and ensure team members are informed of HR guidelines.
- Update and maintain accurate team member data in the HRIS (Workday).
- Generate routine HR reports and assist in basic data analysis.
- Help review and maintain the accuracy of data related to compensation, benefits, and PTO.
- Partner with Business Systems to resolve data discrepancies.
- Support payroll processing and ensure timely submission of relevant data.
- Address EMEA and APAC-specific benefit questions and aid in enrollment and audits.
- Support payroll compliance efforts by tracking and documenting pay and tax changes, coordinating closely with the dedicated team.
- Respond to team member inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and labor rights, escalating complex matters to the dedicated Payroll and Benefits team as needed.
- Contribute to people-related projects and operational process improvements.
- Provide general administrative support to the EMEA and APAC People Operations function.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years in HR operations, coordination, or generalist roles.
- Knowledge of Spanish labor law, collective bargaining agreements (CBA), equality plans, and compliance standards.
- Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with strong data manipulation and analysis skills in Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and a high level of integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with Workday (data management, reporting, process support).
- Membership or affiliation with recognized HR professional organizations in Spain is a plus.
- Comfort working in a globally distributed, multicultural team, especially across time zones and regional labor regulations.
- Strong project coordination or process improvement experience within HR operations or People programs.
