
Regional Key Account & Business Development Manager – Automotive (m/f/d)

- Manage and grow regional automotive accounts across Europe, focusing on Tier 1 suppliers and automotive components
- Identify customer challenges and build integrated end-to-end logistics solutions across DP World's product portfolio
- Drive customer stickiness by ensuring sustainability, continuity, and a personalized delivery experience
- Develop and execute growth strategies and meet financial targets
- Lead RFQs, contract negotiations, and be the internal face of the customer during bids
- Foster strong, trust-based relationships with customer stakeholders in operations, engineering, and procurement
- Maintain CRM pipeline and track account metrics, KPIs, and financial performance
- Collaborate closely with DP World teams across Air, Ocean, Rail, Road, Terminals, and eCommerce
- Support pricing, proposals, and commercial documentation
- Represent DP World at customer meetings and industry events
- 10+ years in supply chain/logistics, preferably in freight forwarding, Tier 1 automotive suppliers, or automotive component manufacturers
- Strong network within the automotive industry (e.g., Mercedes, BMW, VW, Bosch)
- Experience in account management, tender management, or procurement within the automotive sector
- Understanding of multimodal, 2PL/3PL, and customs brokerage
- Fluent in English plus:
- Fluency in Spanish and French is a strong plus (for KAM/BD position Spain / France and Western Europe region)
- Fluency in Turkish or an Eastern European language is a strong plus (for KAM/BD position Eastern Europe & Turkey)
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide insights
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Work in an international environment, collaborating with customers and colleagues across Europe and globally.
