Assistant Auditor

• Developing own knowledge and business awareness and building business relationships.
• Developing a fundamental understanding of the group's audit standards and methodology.
• Keeping the business safe by operating on smaller or less complex tasks, with sufficient guidance and subsequent review; specifically, perform audit testing according to the designated schedule, documenting audit observations and contributing to the creation of audit reports in accordance with the group's audit standards.
• Supporting the Audit team / Auditor in Charge in obtaining agreements on corrective actions and delivering the final audit report.
• Monitoring the implementation of agreed audit actions.
• Reporting the status of the project at regular intervals, as defined; If risks or issues are anticipated, highlight them to relevant stakeholders.
• Performing data analysis as part of audits in coordination with the audit team.

• We will assess if you have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• If you have the relevant professional qualification, such as CIA/CPA, it is a plus!
• 1+ year of directly related experience in accounting, auditing and/or advisory services within the financial services sector (insurance and pension plan management preferred).
• Knowledge of Internal Audit processes, Internal Audit standards, internal control framework and audit testing methodologies.
• Understanding of the insurance industry, key markets, participants, innovation drivers, business issues, standards and guidelines, regulatory environment and developments is advantageous
• Experience with using data analytics as part of audit work is advantageous.
• Good organizational, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good Spanish and English (verbal and written) are required. Additional languages ​​are advantageous.
• Ability to work client-focused, collaborative, flexible, persistent and results-oriented.
• Flexibility and resilience to deal with different workloads and priorities.
• Experience working in multinational and multicultural organizations is advantageous.
