- Identifying areas that can improve our cloud security and engineering solutions to improve our security posture.
- Defining and setting up security metrics and tools to implement a data-driven cybersecurity culture.
- Working closely with our SREs on Infrastructure & Cloud Security
- Working closely with our dev teams to incorporate strong security controls, apply security best practices and mitigate risks and vulnerabilities as part of our secure software development life cycle.
- Our infrastructure and applications comply with security best practices proven by data.
- Our dev teams have a strong DevSecOps mindset and there is a great security culture.
- You have become a reference for our dev teams regarding all cybersecurity matters.
- You have had successful dialogues about cybersecurity in the LW ecosystem with 4-5 experts on the customer side.
- 5+ years of security engineering experience
- Solid understanding of what it takes to build and operate secure systems at scale.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and using automation tools like Terraform.
- Experience with cloud environments (e.g. Azure or GCP), container deployments using Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience maintaining and improving security processes to engineering teams.
- Comfortable explaining security topics to engineers and cybersecurity experts, both internal and external.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate or Cybersecurity Architect Expert
- Experience with microservices
- Experience building authentication & authorization systems (OAuth2, OIDC, ABAC, RBAC, ReBAC, etc.).
- are an effective communicator which provides clarity on technical initiatives and ensures engagement from the dev teams.
