You'll dive into wind measurement campaigns, analyze and interpret wind data, and model wind resources for projects across Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Envision crafting wind turbine layouts and estimating production to help bring renewable energy projects to life. You'll collaborate with hardworking colleagues, supporting projects from early assessment to ready-to-build status. Every day, you'll play a key role in advancing sustainable energy and helping Siemens Gamesa deliver innovative solutions worldwide.How You'll Make an Impact
  • You assess wind resources in target areas, using measurement campaigns and data analysis.
  • You model wind conditions and design turbine layouts based on real-world constraints.
  • You estimate project production, factoring in wind resource levels and array losses.
  • You support global Wind Farm Development activities, partnering with teams in Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
  • You collaborate with Grid Technologies and PtX to mature customer projects and enable successful sales of wind turbines and services.
What You Bring
  • You hold a technical degree and communicate fluently in English.
  • You have hands-on experience in data analytics and are highly proficient in MS Office.
  • You're eager to learn new tools and have some knowledge of Python coding, AutoCAD, or GIS.
  • You understand wind, solar, or BESS technologies, and hold a valid driving license.
  • You are based near Bilbao and ready to join a dynamic, distributed team.
About the TeamYou'll join the Wind Resource Department, a collaborative group dedicated to evaluating wind resources and optimizing wind farm designs. The team works closely with other technical offices and business units to support projects from initial assessment through to construction readiness. Together, you'll tackle challenges, share insights, and drive innovation in wind energy.
