Job Category: InternDegree Level: Master's DegreeJob Description:We are looking for a Master's student to join the Solar and BESS Advisory team in EMEA, supporting our clients with energy yield assessments and BESS modeling.This internship will be based at UL Solutions' office in Barcelona. We are ideally seeking a candidate available for a 6-month, full-time internship.Start date: September 2025Responsibilities:
  • Support the Solar Advisory team in executing feasibility studies and energy production estimates for utility-scale solar PV projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including associate project managers, project managers, and sub-consultants, to ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Help ensure that project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal procedures and processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a Master's program, with a focus on renewable energy-particularly solar PV.
  • Good understanding of solar PV technology and familiarity with key components such as PV modules, inverters, trackers, and other major Balance of System (BOS) equipment.
  • Good understanding of typical KPIs for solar PV projects and a high-level understanding of energy modeling techniques.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
