Descripción de la posiciónPrestigious NPL/Real Estate International Fund in Madrid is looking for an Investment Analyst (portfolio management team).As an Investment Analyst, you will join the Portfolio Management team within the Investment department. Your role will be to improve performance monitoring, with a particular focus on the ongoing revaluation process of the Spanish Secured Portfolios.Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation and execution of Secured revaluation processes.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of valuation techniques and analysis of Secured NPL portfolios.
  • Build a deep understanding of portfolios acquired across all markets and their underlying investment cases.
  • Ensure that essential data necessary for revaluation is collected by the Asset Management teams.
  • Support Credit File Review processes during both revaluation and underwriting processes.
  • Review portfolio performance and profitability while contributing to operational improvements through data analytics; challenge local operations on the delivery of underlying investment cases for both revaluation and future underwriting.
  • Support the divestment process of Secured NPL portfolios aimed at optimizing company results.
  • Present revaluation and analysis to senior management.
  • Collaborate with local teams to ensure an integrated approach to the revaluation process.
Experience, Knowledge & Technical Skills:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years analytical experience in an investment, financial or operational role.
  • Strong degree in a Business/Economics/Mathematical/Analytical related discipline or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and commercial awareness in NPL markets; Understanding of key commercial aspects of debt management and understand contribution to business.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Technical ability using software (SQL/Alteryx/R or other coding languages).
  • Ability to analyse and extract information from large data sets.
  • Strong quantitative aptitude and proven analytical/modelling skills.
  • Able to work on own initiative and confident to take responsibility.
  • Fluency in English & Spanish (other European languages are an advantage).
