Main Accountabilities: As a Classroom Support Assistant at the British Council Las Rozas, you'll play a key role in enhancing the learning experience for our students. You'll work closely with teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons, support assessment activities, and contribute to a safe and stimulating classroom environment. Your active participation in class activities and your ability to use effective language and questioning will help advance student learning. Your Contribution You'll help create vibrant, interactive displays that extend learning beyond the classroom, support centre-wide initiatives, and maintain a tidy, organized learning space. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will ensure that classrooms are welcoming and ready for learning each day. You'll also assist children in managing their materials and routines, fostering independence and responsibility. Beyond the Classroom In our off-site Early Years setting, you'll support teachers and coordinators with key routines such as drop-off, collection, and transitions between activities. You may work with multiple groups of children, helping ensure every child is accounted for and engaged. You'll collaborate with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders-including parents, coordinators, and customer service staff-to create a nurturing and well-connected learning community. Qualifications & Experience Essentials: Completed or undergoing educational qualification in teaching to EY or Primary aged children. Language Requirements English: Minimum B1 level or above to ensure effective communication in an international teaching environment.
