If you’re a strategic thinker, have a commercial customer oriented mindset, with a passion for numbers and a knack for driving financial performance, we’d love to hear from you!What will you be doing?​As Sales Finance Business Partner you will work directly with the responsible tender teams to help achieve the organization and the customer’s goals. You will translate data to insight to action, enabling strong short- and long-term financial performance improvement and embedding a structured data-driven approach to problem solving within the organization. You will protect Vanderlande's interest within the tender, contribute to delivering profitable growth and seek to negotiate win-win solutions with internal- and external customers.Responsibilities​
  • Partner with the Commercial Sales Director and Sales Management Teams across Europe, Middle East and Latin America enabling strong commercial decision making enabled by in-depth financial analysis
  • Ensure robust financial reporting, quality analysis with insights to measure performance. Guide business decisions to enable value creation in line with strategic direction.
  • Provide strategic financial advice on tender risks, opportunities, cashflow management, terms and conditions and tax implications.
  • Contribute to Strategic (Financial) Planning Process to shape medium-term business strategy to achieve 2030 ambition.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for financial performance improvement. Start, lead, measure and execute improvement projects with cross-departmental teams.
  • Ensure strict compliance with the company’s financial policies, procedures and governance frameworks.

What do we ask from you?​
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field; MBA or master’s degree preferred
  • Professional finance or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and/or in a top tier consulting firm
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; PowerBI is advantageous
  • Demonstrated leadership of Finance Business Partnering and influencing across complex matrix organizations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to drive strategic initiatives and manage change
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with stakeholders at all levels across different cultures and geographies
