The objective of this area is to safeguard the company’s reputation and build alliances with various stakeholders (patient associations, scientific societies, and the media).The intern will participate in the implementation of the strategic plan and initiatives/events designed to raise awareness of the company’s activities in Spain. They will also collaborate with agencies and vendors involved in the projects and have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with all departments of the affiliate.What you will do:Support in implementing action plans to publicize Biogen Spain’s initiatives in the media and internal communication channels:Awareness campaigns,Corporate activities of the company, Activities of business units/therapeutic areas and the local commercial team (launches, meetings, websites, etc.)Participation in the creation of content and approaches of interest for the functional area's audiences: media, patient associations, general public, etc. (press releases, advertorials, statements, letters, websites...).Support in managing internal communication content and channels: intranet, social media, internal newsletter, announcements. Content creation, planning, and engagement.Daily media and social media monitoring: sending daily press clippings and relevant media coverage.Support in relationships and initiatives with patient associations, foundations, NGOs, scientific societies, etc.Collaboration in managing internal approvals for editorial content, awareness materials, letters, brochures, etc.Support in organizing/managing meetings, events, and public engagements.Who You Are:The ideal candidate has a background in Communication or Journalism. Additional training or a master’s/postgraduate degree in Corporate Communication is highly valued. The person should have a keen interest in health and science-related information, science communication, and current issues affecting the pharmaceutical industry.
