The market and competitor environment is changing quickly and requires technical curiosity and fast learning capabilities.More than 60 engineers and technicians are currently working within our e-powertrain team on charging interfaces, battery systems, electric motor tests and general electric powertrain and vehicle development topics.A challenging position for our e-motor laboratory is waiting for you.Responsibilities:
  • Validation testing of electric motors and electric axles for battery electric vehicles
  • Programming of test sequences, configuration of DAQ and test automation systems
  • Preparation and execution of endurance and environmental tests of electric motors
  • Analysis of deviced under test and equipment failures, software flashing
  • Reporting of results internally and externally in English
  • Definition of emotor validation procedures on component and system level
  • Understand test configuration and instrumentation and apply the test procedures.

QualificationsEducation:
  • Mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering degree will be needed.
  • Master's degree in automation field or related will be an asset.
Profile:
  • Interest in automotive topics, especially in electric vehicles
  • Knowledge of Automation tools: AVL Puma, NI PATools or NI Labview
  • Knowledge in electric motors and power electronics.
  • Good understanding in control theory, adjustment of PID control
  • Analytic and repair skills (problem solver mentality), technical curiosity
  • Knowledge of CAN communication and control tools: VECTOR and INCA
Languages:
  • Written and oral fluency in English and Spanish.
  • German or any other language will be apreciated.
