Accountant

• Responsible for all Accounting processes relating to the group’s three Spanish entities without outside help from an auditor (gestoria). General accounting duties will include:

• Responsibility for all accounting processes, inputs, and outputs for the three Spanish companies in the group
• Monthly closings (P&L and Balance Sheet)
• Annual closings
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation of annual financial statements (unabridged);
• Presentation of accounts
• Updating of books
• Manage the specific needs of companies partially owned by the companies (requirements of minority shareholders)
• The accounting is held in Microsoft Business Central (Dynamics).
• Taxation: Manage the presentation and settlement of monthly or quarterly and annual taxes, models 300, 115, 130, 347, I/S, etc. Handling of SII with the Tax Agency and all communications with the Company Register and the Tax Agency.
• Periodic and monthly reporting of all tasks under your responsibility
• Work with the accountants of the other companies in the group and the Group Controller to present consolidated accounts monthly; handle intracompany transactions, invoicing and eliminations.
• Work with all operational teams to ensure the accounting data is correct and up-to-date. Take part in reconciliation of data among accounting system, reporting system and production systems.
• Summarize data in Excel spreadsheets and reconcile to other system records

• Employment start: as soon as possible
• Indefinite full-time contract with a 2-month probation period
• Position based in Barcelona, at a coworking space in Poblenou
• Hybrid work policy: Tuesdays and Thursdays at the office / totally up to you the rest of the week (remote work or at the office)
• Base salary is 21,000€ to 30,000€ gross/year depending on seniority and experience

• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Business Central (formerly Dynamics)
• Experience in accounting and responsibility for tax matters of at least 2 years.
• Be a graduate in economics, finance, accounting, or similar.
• Be an autonomous person, with the ability to learn and the ability to relate to the accounting advisors of the other companies in the group
• High level of spoken and written English (minimum C1)
• Strong computer literacy (especially Advanced Excel user)
• High analytical skills, ability to work with numbers, attentiveness, clarity, responsibility
• Ability to work independently, meet the deadlines and solve problems;
• Being openminded and able to work in a fastmoving environment;
