Cybersecurity Specialist (Level 2-3)

• Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and analyze potential threats.
• Perform real-time analysis of immediate threats and triage security incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security risks.
• Support in patch management processes, ensuring systems and applications are up to date.

• Lead or support cybersecurity incident investigations, including evidence collection, forensic analysis, and incident reporting.
• Develop and maintain incident response procedures and playbooks.
• Coordinate with IT and business units during cybersecurity incidents to ensure rapid resolution.

• Recommend and implement security enhancements across networks, systems, and cloud environments.
• Participate in risk assessments and contribute to the design of security controls.
• Assist in developing and enforcing cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.

• Cybersecurity awareness improvements training to employees.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge of cybersecurity trends and threats.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP Associate, GIAC).

• 3-6 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
• Demonstrated experience with security technologies such as NGFW, IDS, SIEM, Endpoint Security and vulnerability management tools.

• Proficient in security operations, incident handling, and forensic techniques.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, computer networking, routing, and switching.
• Familiarity with cloud security principles and hands on experience on at least one of the hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• High degree of integrity and trustworthiness.
• Proactive, self-driven and eager to learn emerging technologies and threats.
