Run what runs the world.This Position reports to: Service Operations ManagerElectrical Engineering Internship🎯Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Support in the configuration, electrical design, analysis, and implementation of protection schemes for power generation systems, especially in CCC plants where ABB Spain has a large installed base.
  • Assist in preparing project documentation within the defined scope and ensure compliance with project specifications and customer quality requirement.
  • Collaborate on upgrade initiatives involving ABB and non-ABB products, with a focus on integrating communication solutions that avoid the use of micro-SCADA systems (excluding ABB solutions).
  • Provide support in organizing and structuring project data and documentation, helping to create reference materials based on current project solutions for future use in possible next projects.
  • This internship is an opportunity for the trainee to work on real-world challenges where ABB is actively developing solutions, contribute to innovative solutions, and develop technical and organizational skills in a dynamic environment.

  • Education: Final-year student or recent graduate in Electrical Engineering
  • Languages: English (level B2)
  • Additional knowledge: Knowledge on protection systems, knowledge of communication protocols and networks
