- Effectively steer the Operations Project Portfolio and follow up the expected results.
- Own the process catalog and apply Santander’s Process methodologies and tools to design and manage processes e2e and having the full overview about the operations related E2E processes with similarities and market driven differences.
- Follow up the key KPIs and processes 360 observability to ensure continuous improvement of processes across the Bank.
- Promote and adopt advanced tools for processes discovery and automation e2e leveraging in the global capabilities (process mining, AI, RPA, etc).
- Support the local Teams in the Countries in their process analysis and optimization, create a market place for best practice sharing and co-operation activities between the countries and closely incorporate with other HQ Areas (e.g. Risk, Compliance, Legal) for E2E process optimization and simplification
- Supporting the set up of central solutions for Operations used common tools and Services
- Drive the processes design into the IT change lifecycle, ensuring the processes design principles implementation.
- Support the development and implementation of the set of capabilities and skills that enable the design and govern of E2E processes and their integration with the different platform systems, with strong leverage in the data.
- Deep knowledge of the banking products and processes.
- Good knowledge and experience in lean/six sigma and or other optimization methodologies.
- Having senior-level dialog with the different stakeholdes in the organization, especially the business partners, building relationships of mutual trust based on solid criteria.
- Outstanding leadership skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in leading process transformation initiatives within the financial services industry
- Transformational skills capable to motivate people to Change; Business vision, Organization structure understanding, Communication and inspiration, Change management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise/experience in Data driven methodologies.
- Soft skills are as important as hard skills in this role. Leadership, communication, negotiation, collaboration, consensus building, … are key factors when networking with multidisciplinary teams from corporation, countries, headquarters, factories, partners and vendors.
- High level of written and spoken English, as you will be interacting with numerous colleagues from countries across Europe using English language for all of them.
