Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid - Based in BarcelonaWe’re looking for a Performance Ad Designer who blends creative craft with data-driven thinking to create high-impact visual assets for paid social campaigns. In this role, you’ll design both static and motion ads tailored for performance—working closely with creative strategists to turn insights into scroll-stopping visuals across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and beyond.You understand the mechanics of performance marketing and know how to balance visual storytelling with platform best practices. Whether it’s a direct response ad or a top-of-funnel brand piece, you approach each project with a focus on conversion, engagement, and creative innovation.This is a hybrid design role ideal for someone who’s as comfortable in Adobe After Effects as they are iterating based on CTR and Hook Rate data.Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Execution & Asset Development
- Design compelling static and motion ads optimized for performance across platforms including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
- Translate creative briefs and strategic insights into high-performing visuals that drive key metrics like CTR, Hook Rate, and CVR.
- Develop multiple creative variations for A/B testing and ad iterations—tailoring concepts to different audiences, placements, and formats.
- Maintain a strong sense of visual hierarchy, pacing, and platform-native design across all assets.
- Partner with Creative Strategists and Paid Media Managers to bring data-backed creative concepts to life.
- Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative reviews—bringing fresh, relevant ideas rooted in cultural and platform trends.
- Ask the right questions to clarify briefs and uncover creative opportunities, ensuring every deliverable is purposeful and aligned.
- Regularly review performance data and creative test results—iterating on designs to improve engagement and conversion outcomes.
- Collaborate with strategists and editors to refine visuals based on platform benchmarks and creative learnings.
- Stay on top of evolving ad formats, design standards, and performance trends—bringing a test-and-learn mindset to creative output.
- Manage multiple design projects across clients and verticals, delivering high-quality assets on time and within scope.
- Ensure all creative meets brand guidelines, platform specs, and quality control standards before handoff.
- 2+ years of experience in performance-focused graphic and motion design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating paid social ad design across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite—especially Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
- Experience using collaboration tools like Figma, Notion, Frame.io, and Monday.com is a plus.
- Solid understanding of creative performance metrics and how design impacts outcomes like CTR, CVR, and engagement.
- Highly collaborative, with excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple timelines, and adapting to evolving creative direction.
