- Responsible for the Product Portfolio definition and roadmap creation for UWB business.
- Analysis of top level system architecture of Automotive UWB solutions: passive keyless systems, radar, etc..
- Responsible to define the feature set of next generation IC including specification definition of key parameters and perform system estimations for this application in cooperation with the engineering team.
- Conduct competitive analysis and internal positioning of roadmap devices
- Think ahead on future needs and drive early lookahead activities -Process, Package, IP, MCU/Edge Computing, Test and Architecture
- Perform Proof of Concept validation in cooperation with internal team of partners.
- Evaluation of lowest Bill-of-Material for our customers by leveraging technical integration versus simplified functionality.
- Overall System partitioning to optimize the different components for the key factors, like cost, power consumption and performance.
- Communicate with customers, field application engineers and design team to understand market requirements, technical automotive needs, trends and more.
- Work in an interdisciplinary and cross-site project team in a global organization
- Author articles for publication in trade magazines and journals, application notes and whitepapers.
- Provide technical training to field team and customers.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 12+ years of experience (or an advanced degree and equivalent amount of experience) in system architecture analysis, feature set definition, product requirement definition or competitive analysis
- Experience with wireless SoC
- Experience working on products that will go into the automotive field
- Experience managing and coordinating complex projects involving multiple departments and stakeholders
- Experience in authoring technical publications, application notes, and whitepapers
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to approximately 20 percent of the time domestically and internationally
- Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- SoC design and Software engineering background
- Experience with UWB technology
- Experience in passive keyless entry systems
- Familiarity with customer relationship management systems to better understand customer interactions and requirements
- Proven ability to provide technical training to field teams and customers
