You will build and implement processes, systems, and mechanisms to effectively drive Day Zero (D0) execution processes to maximize capacity and cost reductions while protecting customer experience. Working with pan-EU and global (NA/JP) teams, you will drive both short-term process improvements and long-term strategic enhancements to maximize UTR capacity utilization and cost reductions while protecting customer experience.
Additionally, you will lead, coach, and mentor a team of UTR Execution Managers and Specialists, fostering positive employee relations and developing leadership talent within the organization. This role requires strategic thinking to enhance our execution processes capabilities while ensuring operational excellence in real-time processes.Key job responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the team's Flow & Sorting Execution processes acting as the primary reference point, working with stakeholders across operations, supply chain, and upstream teams to drive continuous process improvements.
- Manage daily Flow & Sorting execution processes to protect customer experience and maximize capacity and Cost.
- Proactively identify and lead process improvement and technology initiatives through quantitative analysis and data-driven decision making to enhance daily flow execution process, driving capacity-risk trade-offs with partner teams and optimizing metrics such as Productivity (TPH), Double Binning, On Time Dispatch (OTD) and Customer Experience (DEA).
- Lead CO MCO workstream to optimize capacity utilization for intraweek planning and D0 execution during HVE.
- Lead and supervise a team of Managers and Specialists to proactively drive programs management initiatives improvements across AMZL operations execution processes.
- Mentor, train, and develop teammates to support their career progression and learning
- Develop and share best practices across regions with NA, JP, and India CO teams
· Direct management experience in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment.
· Experience with planning, standard work, performance metrics, and process improvement.
· Strong communication (public speaking and writing).
· Highly driven and ability to deliver needle-moving change and results in complex settings
· Candidates must be flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands, including weekends and holidays.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· Experience leading process improvements through Lean process, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
· Enjoys analytical work and using data to provide thought-provoking and workable solutions.
· Leader of projects and history of successfully developing others into higher levels of leadership in an organization.
