AESC is seeking an experienced Project Planner/Scheduler is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining project schedules and plans across various projects within the organization. This role ensures that all project timelines are met and that resources are effectively allocated to meet project objectives. The Project Planner/Scheduler will work closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to monitor project progress and provide timely updates.This role will be located in Madrid and part of the European Project Performance Centre (PPC).Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed project schedules, including task breakdowns, dependencies, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Use project management software/tools to build and update schedules.
  • Determine resource requirements for projects and ensure resources are efficiently allocated.
  • Coordinate with project managers to balance workloads across projects.
  • Track project progress against the baseline schedule.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports, highlighting any deviations and recommending corrective actions.
  • Identify potential scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate potential delays and risks to project managers and stakeholders promptly.
  • Collaborate with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines.
  • Facilitate project meetings focused on schedule and timeline discussions.
  • Evaluate existing scheduling processes and recommend improvements.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and integrate them into scheduling processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
  • Proven experience in using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
  • Experience in complex CAPEX projects such as EPC/EPCM, Energy, Chemicals, Gigafactory and Megaprojects is preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Strong understanding of project management
