Whatever your career path or specialism Apex provides a global platform to allow you to thrive.As APEX FUND SERVICES is expanding, we are opening an exciting new opportunity.We are currently looking for a suitable, motivated, and team-oriented professional for the position of Technology Audit Manager.The Role:The Technology Audit Manager is a crucial role within Technology Assurance & Information Security, responsible for supporting and executing Apexs Internal-, External-, Client- & Regulatory Audit requirements. The role reports to the Group Head of Technology Assurance.Key duties and responsibilities:Technology Audit
  • Responsible for supporting the delivery and execution of all assurance requirements for Apex, including (but not limited to) Internal/External Audit enquiries as well as Client- and Regulatory Audit queries.
  • Ensure robust and swift evidence collection for all technology assurance enquiries ensuring adequate quality and completeness.
  • Provide direct managerial oversight to ensure the successful execution of audit examinations in accordance with the departments audit methodology and professional standards.
  • Provide governance and oversight across all technology assurance activities to deliver process enhancement.
  • Support the consolidation and rationalisation of technology audit requirements, including entity/jurisdictional-specific and global reports.
  • Support the execution of SOC 1 & 2 External Assurance Audits and successful delivery of the assurance reports.
  • Prepare Apex for future SOx audits and associated requirements.
  • Collaborate across the organisations with other departments, such as other Technology teams, Finance, Client Services, Legal, and Compliance, to ensure that all technology assurance requirements are met in the necessary timeframe.
  • Assist Technology Governance and Third-Party Assurance, as well as any other security teams, on tasks when necessary.
Experience and Knowledge:
  • Masters degree preferable complemented with relevant IT Security / Audit certification(s) (i.e., CISA/CRISC/CISM)
  • Experience operating and leading Technology teams in a large multi-national organisation.
  • Detailed understanding of core Technology Audit principles and requirements.
  • Experience working in complex, fast-paced business environments, including ability to coordinate multiple tasks in various locations and time zones.
  • Ability to manage projects and keep oversight on the ultimate deliverable.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Experience overseeing/supporting (IT) audits in the financial services industry would be an advantage.
  • Highly motivated with demonstrated passion for leading teams and implementing change.
  • Strong communication skills required at all levels.Must be able to interact with senior leadership.
  • Excellent command of verbal and written communication (English).
  • Effective presentation style for all levels of stakeholders.
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, issue analysis and resolution skills.
  • Ability to think objectively and remain calm under pressure, especially when there are tight deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to a multicultural global work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities with internal clients.
