Your RoleThe primary duty of the Professional Client Service Engineer is to ensure stability of clients as well as deploying standard apps to users. It’s also to ensure additional required software is available for relevant users.By client devices we refer to: PCs, smartphones, tablets and printers. The Professional Client Service Engineer (PCSE) works as administrator in the management systems for these client devices, currently MS Configuration Manager and Intune, as well as Printer management systems.The role of Professional Client Service Engineer will report to Global Client Services & CSD lead.ResponsibilitiesManagement and configuration of Client Management toolsPrepare application packages in different formatsTest application deployment on test devicesMaintain the Windows OS on the PCs, with patches and release upgradesConfigure the process to deploy new devices in BrenntagWork together to define the policies which we set for the users and computersLiaison with external service provider to assist in complex client management tasksCollaboration with internal teams, project teams and external companiesParticipate in projects on a regional or even global levelAct as L2/L3 support for all client related ServiceDesk and L2 support issuesYour ProfileBachelor's degree or master’s degree in Computer ScienceMin 5 years of professional experience in IT support and client supportFulfil, resolve, trouble-shoot incidents and service requests following ITIL processesExperience in delivering high level of customer focus and strong customer supportExperience in Windows 10/11 and Office 365 client softwareStrong communication skill, in both written and verbalStructured approach to technical issuesHigh customer and service focusStrong team playerSelf-starter, independent, proactive, and collaborativeStructured approach to technical problemsTravel expected and Teams’ collaboration wherever neededOur OfferA dynamic and collaborative work environmentOpportunities for professional development and ongoing trainingCompetitive compensation package and attractive benefits.Brenntag provides equal employment opportunities to qualified applicants and employees of all backgrounds and identities to create a workplace where difference is valued because it forms a resilient and more innovative organization.
