We lead across contemporary key issues such as low-carbon design, existing building re-use and timber engineering.The OpportunityThis is your chance to be part of the Structural Engineering team in Arup Madrid. You will have the opportunity to work with specialists in the field and develop your technical skills and knowledge in the area.As a Structural Engineering Trainee at Arup, you will:
  • Support the structures team in calculation and design of building structures
  • Participation in different stages of production: project bids, concept/schematic/detailed design
  • Possibility of site visits
Does this role inspire you?We are looking for someone proactive and dynamic. Ideally, you’ll bring:
  • A Degree in Civil Engineering and currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Special interest in structures and building design
  • High level of English (C1)
  • Proficient in use of structural analysis programs
  • Programming skills and use of parametric tools (Python, Grasshopper)
  • Experience in BIM methodology and modelling software (Revit, Rhino)
Conditions
  • Be enrolled in the university to be able to establish an agreement with the University
  • Immediate incorporation
  • Duration: 6 months of extendable internship (possibility of joining after completing the internship)
  • Schedule: From 20 to 40 hours per week to be defined with the student
  • Remuneration: will depend on the student's level of training and the number of hours established.
