The vacancy will be based in Madrid.Remarkable people, trusted by clients to design and advance the world.Wood is recruiting for a Senior ICE Engineer to join its Power &Industrial , Steam Generation System (Boilers) business , global leader in the delivery of project, engineering, equipment and technical services to the energy and industrial markets.#LI-HybridWe are looking for an experienced ICE engineer, to participate in our Engineering & Technical department with the following expertise:
  • PIDs diagrams and system definition
  • Plant operation & control concept
  • Boiler and auxiliary package control /monitoring system definition
  • Boiler and auxiliary package safety system definition
  • Equipment & Electric specification (MV Switchboard, MCC and Aux. Pannels, Motors , Grounding and lightning, Lighting and power supply, Cables, trays and accessories.)
  • Hazop studies
  • Supervise SIL determination and verification studies.
  • Instruments datasheets , erection details and heat tracing
  • Control valves datasheets, Primary Flow elements datasheets
  • Valves & Instruments List

Responsibilities:
  • Performs technical calculations and technical reports.
  • Assures contract specifications, applicable codes and company procedures are fulfilled.
  • Prepares technical data sheets and specifications.
  • Prepares, verifies and/or approves drawings related to his/her technical calculations performed.
  • Ensures successful completion of the assigned deliverables per contract requirements within the budgeted time and cost constraints of the project/proposals.
  • Reports to the Section Manager any technical project/proposal difficulty and /or out of standard solution to be approved.
  • Coordinates and supports the Project Engineering Manager in the technical aspects of the project.

  • Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • More than 10 years relevant experience in Power Plant Projects
  • Excellent command of Spanish and English languages
  • Good organization, written and oral skills
  • Knowledge of ICE international Codes and Standards: ASME, NFPA, IEC, EUROCODE.
  • Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required.
Desirable:
  • User of AVEVA DIAGRAMS
  • User of AUTOCAD
  • User of NAVIS 3 D Model
