- Lead the development and execution of country-specific market access strategies to ensure the optimal patient access for Takeda’s oncology portfolio, with focus on regional and hospital access.
- Support the preparation and submission of reimbursement dossiers, engaging with LOC PVA for pricing negotiations.
- Design regional market access plans, including core tactics, to ensure proper implementation by the infield market access team.
- Collaborate with Global and EUCAN teams, ensuring alignment with corporate plans and insights sharing.
- Monitor healthcare trends and evolving market dynamics, ensuring timely responses to access challenges.
- Contribute to the strategic launch of new products and in-license opportunities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with LOC PVA team to define innovative pricing and reimbursement frameworks that maximize patient reach while adhering to financial and policy constraints.
- Educate cross-functional and field teams about market access processes, providing continuous updates on pricing and contracting models.
- Partner with medical and Global/Regional teams to outline strategic Real World Evidence (RWE) and Health Economics initiatives supporting Takeda’s oncology products.
- Identify opportunities to develop and present data supporting the value and outcomes of oncology therapies.
- Act as a strong leader and role model, fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams, across business units and above country (Global/Region).
- Degree in Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health or other relevant field; postgraduate qualifications preferred (e.g., MSc, MBA, etc.).
- Pharmaceutical industry experience with robust knowledge of the Spanish healthcare system, reimbursement processes, and payer engagement.
- Proven track record in pricing, reimbursement strategies, and market access. Experience in highly specialized therapeutic areas is a plus.
- Ability to navigate the Spanish healthcare system with proven skills in building strategic partnerships, creating advocacy, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong project management, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with an ability to navigate complex policy environments.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with fluency in Spanish and English.
- Passionate about innovation and patient-focused solutions, demonstrating perseverance to overcome barriers in access and policy challenges.
