  • Introductory Call with HR: Eligible candidates will have an introductory call with an HR member to evaluate eligibility and motivation.
  • Virtual Event (Gearing Revolutionary Innovation Talent Symposium 2024) - Case Study: Candidates will participate in a virtual event where they will work on a case study to showcase their skills.
  • Dow Award - Internship Position: Successful candidates will receive the Dow Award, signifying the internship position.
​P&SP Overview:P&SP is committed to being innovative, inclusive, customer-centric, and sustainability-driven. We focus on developing new technologies and applications to deliver value growth while making a positive impact on society and the planet.ResponsibilitiesYou will work on complex R&D projects related to low to high-density polyethylene, polyolefin elastomers & plastomers, synthetic rubbers, functional ethylene copolymers, polyurethane & acrylic adhesives, and several compounded products, with guidance from experienced supervisors and support from our organization.Qualifications
  • Currently studying a master's degree or equivalent in chemistry, chemical engineering, or material science.
  • Good working knowledge of English; Spanish or German is a plus.
  • Critical thinking, troubleshooting, and organizational skills are desired.
  • Passion for materials and polymer science, along with innovative ideas.
  • Enthusiastic, respectful of project deadlines, and a good team player.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Laboratory experience is advantageous.
Duration
  • The internship is for 6–9 months, starting between July to September 2024.
