Job Description:WOOD is looking for a Senior Estimating Engineer with proven experience in a major engineering contractor within the Oil & Gas Industry.The successful candidate will join the discipline team working in our current major projects and will report to the designated discipline lead or manager.Responsibilities:Capability and experience to perform different Estimate Classes from Conceptual Estimate to Class II Estimate.Responsible for the preparation of the estimate and obtain assistance required from other technical departments.Capability and experience to perform Engineering Services Bids and/or EPC Bids.Coordinates estimating activities to assure desired completion date.Prepare Home Office estimates.Prepare Equipment and Materials estimates.Prepares average construction labor rates to be used for each estimate.Determinate construction indirect Cost with the assistance from the Construction Department.Capability to perform Risk Analysis and establish Contingency Level.Keeps abreast of current cost trends in material and labor.Coordinates estimates with Proposal/Project Manager and Manager of Estimating.Qualifications:Relevant Diploma / Degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering.Proven record ranging from 10 to 15 years of relevant experience performing equivalent duties, preferably with an EPC Bids, in Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical or Mining & Metals business areas.Teamwork capabilities, flexibility, problem solving attitude, orientation to results, relational skills, specific technical knowledge.Analytic attitude and Confidential performance.Ready to work in an international environment and to learn international engineering working practices.Spanish language at native level.Excellent command of English.Available immediately.Valid European Work Permit.About Us:Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
