Working closely with the Development Director and appointed consultants on the projects, you will beresponsible for managing the development and construction processs, representing the Client with themain contractors and professional team. The role will continue to evolve over time as the businessgrows and develops, you will need to be able to adapt to these dynamics.Provide technical support to the Development Director:
  • Feasibility studies and initial technical due diligence
  • Review of technical data and input to the Investment Team
Manage and monitor the delivery of construction projects:
  • Reporting on programme, budget and quality
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with contractors and professional teams
  • Liaison with the operational team
Weekly site visits to control delegated development and technical teams, showing clear technical leadershipOversee completion works and defect list amendmentsManage the handover process, including completion documentation and O&M manualsCoordinate and support FF&E worksUpgrade and structure development documentationProject Manager / Senior Project ManagerSupports delivery of the projects by managing technical&construction elements
  • Building Engineer, Architect or Technical Engineer
  • 12 to 18 years' experience in construction and/or project management
  • Previous experience in residential, hotel or student accommodation projects
  • Expertise in tendering, bid placing reports, construction progress technical control, technical leadership, and cost control
