As part of a globally distributed team, the specialist ensures alignment between global strategy and local execution by implementing consistent measurement frameworks, enabling data accuracy, and enhancing campaign performance across paid media channels. The position acts as a bridge between digital marketing, analytics, CRM, and media execution teams, contributing to Straumann Group’s digital maturity and customer-centric marketing approach through robust data infrastructure and actionable insights.Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Supports the implementation of data-driven performance marketing frameworks, ensuring measurability, data integrity, and optimization potential across global campaigns.
- Leads the implementation of attribution solutions (e.g., Hash IDs, Email Hashes) to enable advanced conversion tracking and cross-platform performance measurement.
- Ensures global alignment with campaign naming conventions, taxonomy standards, and data governance to support scalable reporting and analysis.
- Supports the deployment and maintenance of the Universal DataLayer, proactively identifying and resolving tagging issues to ensure consistent, privacy-compliant data collection.
- Collaborates with global and local teams to improve data architecture in Google BigQuery, enabling effective segmentation, tracking, and visualization of media performance.
- Designs and refines dashboards and reports using tools like Looker Studio and Power BI to provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
- Monitors and ensures consistency in tracking systems, UTM structures, and BI data pipelines to support global benchmarking and accurate campaign evaluation.
- Maintains and updates documentation related to tracking frameworks, tagging standards, and attribution models, promoting consistency across regions.
- Analyzes campaign execution across paid media channels to identify opportunities for performance optimization (e.g., ROAS, CPA, CTR) and recommends improvements.
- Monitors and optimizes paid media campaigns across Display, Search, Social Media, and Programmatic platforms including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, StackAdapt, Taboola, and DV360.
- Contributes to the execution of the digital data strategy and roadmap, supporting the definition of business-relevant use cases and implementation planning.
- Provides end-to-end project management for high-complexity, multi-stakeholder initiatives focused on driving customer value through digital strategy execution.
- Executes global digital marketing projects and campaigns, ensuring readiness for launch, progress tracking, and proactive communication with key stakeholders.
- Leads marketing communications projects, offering guidance to markets and business units based on global best practices and performance insights.
- Conducts market research to stay current with customer behavior, industry trends, and digital innovation that can inform future strategies.
- Supports vendor and agency management where needed, ensuring effective delivery of campaign measurement, media execution, and tracking solutions.
- Assists with cost budgeting and resource planning across assigned projects and work packages.
- Builds and maintains strong internal relationships, acting as a connector between global and local teams to align on performance marketing priorities.
- Serves as the main point of contact between Key Account Managers (KAMs) and the Digital Marketing & Customer Engagement team, ensuring effective coordination and knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in marketing or business administration or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
- 1-3 years professional experience in leading cross-channel digital campaigns in global environments (preferably medical device business).
- Proven ability in tracking implementation, attribution modeling, and CRM platform integration ( SAP, Salesforce), with a strong understanding of data flow and campaign measurability.
- Advanced technical expertise in performance marketing platforms, including Google Ads, GA4, Tag Manager, Meta Business Manager, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Power BI, BigQuery, marketing automation tools, and project management software (e.g., Asana, Confluence, Jira).
- Strong understanding of campaign taxonomy, naming conventions, tagging frameworks, and data governance practices to ensure structured and scalable performance reporting.
- Additional postgraduate and professional qualifications.
- Non-hierarchical team-oriented attitude, experienced in leading global teams
- Strong track record within a marketing / or sales organization
- Certified project management training or equivalent (SCRUM, PMP, etc., …)
- Scrum or agile project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of project management in an international matrix environment
- Strong analytical skills with result orientation
- Ability to work independently
