This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Corporate Compliance and other related matters pertaining to the GRC & DP function. The ideal candidate is a student of Law and Business Administration (or at minimum, Law), with a strong interest in corporate governance, regulatory frameworks, and ethical business practices.ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the development and implementation of the company’s Compliance Framework.
Assist in the analysis and documentation of criminal liability risk assessments and related compliance exercises.
Provide support in reviewing and updating internal policies and procedures to ensure alignment with applicable laws and regulations.
Collaborate with the Data Protection team on matters related to GDPR compliance and data privacy initiatives.
Assist in the review of contractual clauses from a compliance and risk perspective.
Conduct legal and regulatory research on compliance-related topics.
Help prepare training materials and internal communications to promote compliance awareness.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to support Compliance team activities.
Contribute to the monitoring and reporting of compliance metrics as appropriate.
SKILLS
Strong analytical and research skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
High attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Interest in corporate compliance, data protection, and legal risk management.
Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and contribute.
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing a degree in Law and Business Administration (preferred) or Law (minimum requirement).
Academic background or coursework in compliance, corporate law, or data protection is a plus.
Languages: English is a must; Spanish would be a plus
