We are looking for a LIMS Business Partner to join our global project team. Acting as the main liaison between the laboratory, technical teams, and quality/regulatory stakeholders, this role will ensure that laboratory requirements are accurately translated into LIMS functionalities and workflows. The LIMS Business Partner will be responsible for coordinating system enhancements, supporting end-users, and guaranteeing that the platform operates in compliance with quality standards. This position is key to secure smooth communication across departments and to maximize the value of the new LIMS implementation.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESImplementation Support
- Gather and document lab workflows and requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to define use cases, sample life cycles, data flows.
- Translate user needs into software requirements.
- Coordinate with LIMS vendor or internal developers during setup/configuration.
- Participate in validation and testing.
- Manage user acceptance testing (UAT) and feedback.
- Act as a single point of contact between users and developers.
- Hold regular meetings to gather feedback and report progress.
- Provide clarity on requirements and system constraints to both sides.
- Create user guides and training materials.
- Train end-users during and after implementation.
- Maintain knowledge base or SOPs for system use.
- Administer LIMS user access, roles, and permissions.
- Configure master data, workflows, test definitions, etc.
- Provide first-level support and escalate complex issues.
- Manage version updates, regression testing, and change requests.
- Regularly review system usage and propose improvements.
- Gather and prioritize feature requests and enhancements.
- Stay updated with LIMS vendor updates and roadmap.
- Understanding of laboratory workflows (ideally from life sciences, pharma, or testing labs).
- Familiarity with databases and LIMS systems (e.g., LabWare, STARLIMS, LabVantage, etc.).
- Soft skills: Communication, documentation, change management.
- Technical acumen (not necessarily a developer, but able to work with IT).
