- As a member of an agile Product Team, you will be instrumental in creating digital and cutting-edge GenAI products that directly address the needs of our internal customers in Medicine. This involves everything from requirements, initial prototyping to developing and maintaining fully productive and scalable solutions.
- In your new role, you will design and develop the business logic, front-end and back-end services, using state-of-the-art technologies and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- You will also play a key role in consulting the team and stakeholders, ensuring the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of our IT solutions in accordance with Boehringer Ingelheim's standard architecture framework and strategy.
- Through the creation and application of automation tools and scripts, you will also ensure efficient and reliable system maintenance.
- Furthermore, you will support and maintain development and production system environments as well as the continuous delivery pipeline for the secure and continuous provision of the solution for users.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related/equivalent discipline.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in both back-end and front-end development, utilizing state-of-the-art programming languages and frameworks such as Python and React.
- Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in creating scalable web-based and mobile applications, software development tests and automation tests (including component and regression tests).
- Strong background in backend technologies, including API design & usage, REST, GraphQL, and database technologies.
- Expertise in version control systems.
- Solid understanding of continuous development methods and tools.
- Experience with container platforms and management systems such as RedHat OpenShift, AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service, AWS Fargate, or comparable platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD environments and agile development practices, preferably Scrum, using tools like Jenkins, Atlassian Jira, and Bitbucket.
- Exposure to AWS services, including Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK), AWS Lambda Functions, API Gateway, Storage (S3, EFS, FSx), and databases (RDS, DynamoDB).
- Knowledge of IT security, IT operations, and IT support.
- Additional Skills:
- Understanding of machine learning techniques (GenAI) and data mining is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build and maintain business relationships with various stakeholders.
- Professional-level English communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn new knowledge and skills outside your comfort zone.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and regulated environments (GxP) is a plus.
