Job Title: Communication Specialist, EuropeOracle Title: TBDDepartment: International, LegalPrepared By: Manager & HRReviewed Date:Exempt/Non-exempt: ExemptSUMMARY:The Expert Communications will support the Director Public Affairs & Communications, Europe in alignment with the Sr. Director Communications EMEA and LatAm in developing a regional communications strategy (both external and internal) which will identify key themes/messages as well as modes of communication and a cadence for communication at the market level. The Expert Communications will be responsible for implementing the regional communications strategy in Europe.The position reports directly to Director Public Affairs and Communications, Europe and dotted line to the Sr. Director Communications, EMEA and LatAm.FUNCTIONS:· In concert with regional management and in alignment with Corporate and Market needs, support developing and implement a comprehensive communications strategy both internal and external to advance the Company’s business objectives, values and reputation.· Under the direction of the Director, Public Affairs and Communications, support development of and execution of the strategy to influence and advance ATC Europe´s interests.· Support advancing a corporate narrative that contributes to ATC Europe positioning with employees and external stakeholders.· Assist in the response to media and other external inquiries. As appropriate, act as spokesperson in front of media.· Work cross-functionally to review, analyze, and oversee communications project plans. This includes M&A, HR, market specific projects, sustainability and internal programs. Coordinate and produce compelling copy for a series of internal/external communications material related to these and other topics.· Support increasing ATC Europe’s digital presence on LinkedIn.· Support and drive internal communications via ATC Europe’s Teams channel to strengthen collaboration and engagement, esp. in alignment with PA and HR.· Consult and coordinate with external communications advisors and firms to support the function’s objectives.· Consult and support commercial teams on current and new product offerings from a branding and communications perspective.· Depending on each market needs and under the direction of the Public Affairs leadership, may support in discussions or negotiations with government officials on topics that may include project implementation, challenging of interpretations, or advocating for or against existing or proposed legislation and regulation or interpretation of law.OTHER:Administrative Assistant – limit to 30% Assisting and supporting the SVP of M&A and Business Development for LatAm & EMEA and his team, to ensure the efficient operation of the group by perform, lead, and coordinate a variety of administrative support activities such as:· Composing replies to correspondence (both directed and on own initiative),· Summarizing reports and information to facilitate review by others, and investigating, evaluating, and resolving problems within scope of position.· Schedule meetings and manage team diaries and calendars.· Booking and coordinating travel arrangements for the M&A and BD team within company· policy and approved budget guidelines.· Manage billing, invoices, expense reports and purchase orders for the regional team.· Support to ensure collation of information and initial reviews to ensure high quality board· packs, regional finance packs, quarterly reports, etc.· Prepare/review correspondence, reports and presentations as required.· Planning social functions, special events, etc. as identified by the SVP, Head of M&A and· Business Development.· Manage activities and projects on behalf of the M&A and BD team .· Support the M&A and BD team to drive collaboration across regions.· Support the Dutch office day-to-day operations, including office occupancy/desk· management, office supplies, contact with suppliers, and arrangements for visitors.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:· Define and communicate annual goals, perform formal and informal performance reviews, and ensure changes and updates are communicated in a timely and professional manner· Proactively identify and resolve personnel issues in conjunction with Human Resources· Create strong collaborative team environment.QUALIFICATIONS:· Training and experience in public affairs, media relations or issues management, managing multiple markets, complex projects and stakeholders· Fluency in English is required, German, French, and / or Spanish ideal as well.· Ability to apply communications expertise and experience to make sound business decisions.· Ability to formulate and effectively articulate recommendations to business partners.· Ability to effectively resolve complex issues.· Exceptional ability to work as a team player· Ability to manage substantial workload in fast-paced environment.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.· Strong academic credentials in communications and/or related areas.· Strong organizational skills.· Proficient with MS Office Suite applications and products.· Must be flexible to ensure the position’s expectations and responsibilities are met.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:· Communications, BA/BS degrees is required;· Prior communications experience is required.· Previous experience working in a matrix organization is ideal.ENVIRONMENT:100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
