- Implement EHS policies and procedures in line with local and international regulations.
- Ensure legal compliance in environmental protection, occupational health, and industrial safety.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, as well as regulatory inspections.
- Identify risks and propose preventive and corrective actions.
- Manage training and awareness programs for employees on EHS topics.
- Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
- Monitor and report key EHS performance indicators (KPIs).
- Oversee waste management, emissions control, and energy consumption, promoting sustainable practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate EHS culture into all operational processes.
- University degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Industrial Safety, or related field and Master Degree in Health and Safety.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within industrial environments (preferably non-wood sectors).
- Strong knowledge of national and EU EHS legislation.
- Certifications in ISO 14001, ISO 45001 management systems (preferred).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills.
- High level of English and Spanish (spoken and written).
