Cualificaciones:The EHS Manager is responsible for leading, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety management systems within the industrial plant. This role ensures compliance with applicable regulations and promotes a culture of prevention and sustainability. The EHS Manager plays a key role in maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.
  • Implement EHS policies and procedures in line with local and international regulations.
  • Ensure legal compliance in environmental protection, occupational health, and industrial safety.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, as well as regulatory inspections.
  • Identify risks and propose preventive and corrective actions.
  • Manage training and awareness programs for employees on EHS topics.
  • Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
  • Monitor and report key EHS performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee waste management, emissions control, and energy consumption, promoting sustainable practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate EHS culture into all operational processes.
Responsabilidades:
  • University degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Industrial Safety, or related field and Master Degree in Health and Safety.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within industrial environments (preferably non-wood sectors).
  • Strong knowledge of national and EU EHS legislation.
  • Certifications in ISO 14001, ISO 45001 management systems (preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills.
  • High level of English and Spanish (spoken and written).
