We're seeking a strategic thinker to create sustainable value and strengthen stakeholder partnerships.Your Role and PurposeAs a Global Category Manager, Travel & Events you'll support the design and implement travel & events procurement strategies, fostering innovation, sustainability, and value creation. You'll manage supplier relationships and drive solutions that align with our business goals.What Will You Do
  • Drive strategic category management and innovation: Develop and implement global Travel & Events strategies, ensuring alignment across regions. Coordinate sourcing activities, create category and sub-category business plans, and identify innovative solutions that add value and support sustainability.
  • Lead supplier relationships and risk management: Build and manage a strong pool of global suppliers. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions, develop long-term partnerships, and ensure continuity of supply. Anticipate risks, create contingency plans, and proactively address challenges to protect business operations.
  • Deliver procurement targets through data-driven decisions: Achieve cost, quality, and service targets by analyzing data, monitoring KPIs, and recommending sourcing strategies. Take corrective actions when needed and ensure procurement initiatives contribute measurable value to the business.
  • Foster stakeholder partnerships across functions: Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders. Align strategies with business needs, encourage cross-functional collaboration, and maintain open communication to ensure procurement supports business priorities and long-term goals.
  • Monitor market trends and provide strategic insights: Conduct market research, share category intelligence, and identify opportunities for innovation or improvement. Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluate new suppliers and solutions, and recommend actions that keep the company competitive and resilient.
What We're Looking For - 2S:
  • Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in similar environment in a multinational company, preferably Travel Management background from either FMCG, TMC/Travel Agency, Travel Supplier or Meetings & Events background
  • Strategic and innovative mindset
  • Strong analytical and financial capabilities
  • Outstanding negotiation skills
  • Business-level English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Travel and or Meetings & Events management
