Come be part of something special - start your journey today!The Field Connectivity Engineer would support water metering aligned to our customers sustainability goals through the Digital IoT platform integration and sensor connections to water treatment plant assets, as well as support other analytics implementations. The candidate will also work on projects/Mobile/CMS RO connectivity set ups.Essential functions:
  • Configure IoT setups in EU sites such as new projects, Mobile/O&M, CMS RO connectivity, including coordination of actions, talk to the client about our connectivity methods and cybersecurity, and follow the connectivity configuration to its completion for remote services.
  • For analytics, be able to assess an overall water metering plant layout, deciding the best sensors and hardware connectivity strategy for the plant needs and Digital Solutions, as per the data requirement for the Digital Analytics/Sustainability tool application
  • Provide the client connectivity options and assess on cybersecurity, to support decision making
  • Guide the client to execute the hardware/sensors/SaaS installation and implementation validations
  • Support the Digital IoT platform data configuration and customer adoption to help them achieve water and energy savings
  • Place Digital Indirect PO orders and track their invoices payment, supporting telecom services and others
  • Ability to travel twice a month to support site activities.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Mechanical and electrical engineering background
  • Previous field service experience in connecting water processing instruments such as flow, pressure and conductivity meters, pumps, and valves.
  • Technical skills: This person should understand digital architectures and systems, including hardware, software, and some networking components. Familiarity with industrial control systems, such as SCADA, PLC, or DCS, would be important.
Desired Qualities:
  • Experience in a multinational work environment in the water industry
  • Communication skills: This person will need to be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including plant managers, engineers, and IT professionals. Strong English written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • This person should have experience in tasks planning and estimating timelines.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting may be necessary.
  • Knowledge on water balancing and fluid mechanics/ energy calculations.
